- You want to make sure you light your green screen evenly and separately from your actor. You'll also want to avoid noticeable wrinkles on your green screen. (upbeat cheerful music) (whooshing) (cheerful upbeat music) After you've taken care of lighting your green screen, you'll need to focus on lighting your talent. Be sure to notice any flyaways in your actor's hair. (whooshing) You can take care of this problem using hair products. Make sure your talent stands far away enough from the green screen to prevent any green spill onto their clothes. (whooshing) Be sure to match lighting if you are trying to place your talent in a specific background. Whatever camera you use, it's always a good idea to shoot at a higher shutter speed to avoid motion blurs which can be difficult to key out in post-production.
