- Trust is a really important element to build into our systems and our organizations. So how do we do it? Organizations can build trust by owning, operating, and governing systems that show that they are built, archicted, and built with best interest in mind. That means the information that you processed is information that is at work for a certain purpose over time. Organizations can organize in a trustworthy manner. Having individuals that are accountable for information throughout its lifecycle and always have an eye on that data asset is critical to building trust and integrity into the system. Organizations can audit their systems. So audit to us sounds like a bad thing that happens at tax time, audit in an organization that deals with personally identifiable information is a glorious thing.
