Roto Brush 2.0

Roto Brush 2.0

- [Instructor] Not long ago After Effects got the refreshed roto brush tool, which makes the tedious task of rotoscoping a person and separating him from the background much easier, faster, and more precise, thanks to machine learning technology. So let's put it to the test and check how well it performs. So I have this clip, courtesy of Adobe Stock, of a dancer on a bridge. Now we also animated three shape layers that are colorized with the four color gradient effect. And then I animated them using a simple trim path operator. So they are drawing themselves in a cascade style, giving this scene a much more colorful atmosphere. But to make it a decent MoGraph composition, we need to separate this dancer and place him above these vector layers. Now in the past, this would take forever. And this is because his arms and legs are moving all over the place. Sometimes even being obscured by his body. So this was a manual…
