Logical calculations: To aggregate or not to aggregate?

First, let's start with some simple logic. We are evaluating our product portfolio and want to see if we can optimize it, especially if there are some products that we should stop selling. To do that, we want to calculate whether a SKU is profitable. So let's open up a new calculation and name it. Personally, I like to add the question mark to make it clear that we are calculating a truth value. Remember, they are also called Boolean values. Or you can also add an is in front to show that we are making a statement here. So when is a value profitable? That happens when the profit is greater than zero. Fortunately, we already calculated the profit in chapter four when we talked about arithmetic operators. So you can see that's exactly what we enter here, profit greater than zero. The calculation is valid, so we confirm and close with "OK". A new dimension has been created and this is a Boolean field. We recognize that by the icon in front showing a T/F, short for true or false. Let's…
