Are you up for another challenge? Because I think you are more than ready for it. Our sales team want to compare our current year sales with our sales from last year per SKU. Your challenge is to create all calculations needed for that. From the way they phrased their requirement, it is clear that we need three calculations; sales current year, sales previous year, and the difference between the two. If the date of purchase was this year, so the same year as today, then the total price from that transaction should be contained in the field, sales current year. If the date of purchase was the previous year, so one year before the year of today, then the total price from that transaction should be contained in the field, sales previous year. Your third calculation should yield the difference between those two fields. Make sure to aggregate both sales current year and sales previous year when calculating the difference between them.
