- [Instructor] So, up next, let's talk a little bit about what the Tableau Prep Workspace looks like. The Tableau Prep Workspace looks very similar to the Tableau Desktop Workspace, especially within the Connections pane. The Connections pane is found to the left hand side of your screen and can be expanded or collapsed using the arrow on the left hand side. Inside the Connections pane, you'll be able to connect to flat files, databases, and published data sources. Next, on the top part of your workspace, you'll see the flow pane. The flow pane is a visual representation of each operation or step in the data preparation process. For those of you familiar with other workflow type programs like Vizio, the flow pane will look relatively familiar. Inside the Tableau Prep Workspace is the profile pane. The profile pane displays a summary of each field in your data sample. From here, you can profile your data by clicking on your fields and values. You can also modify your values directly…
