- I am going to predict your future and say that the enthusiasm you have in your new job is going to wane after 90 days, you'll settle into your habits. It's easy to become too complacent after 90 days and lose a bit of your proactivity. Here are several steps to take to ensure you have a good plan to maintain your momentum in your role beyond 90 days. What I want you to do is set a reminder for yourself once a month, maybe you do it at last Friday of every month or whatever works for you and ask yourself these questions. Are there any coworkers or people in my network that I should check in on? This is your moment to quickly reconnect. The second question is, how am I doing on my goals?
