Create a section cut
- [Instructor] A section cut can help us peer inside of our model without changing any of the geometry. It's like taking a slice out of our model. To do this, we'll need the section cut tool. That is found in the dropdown menu, tools, section plane. Now that I've clicked on section plane, as I move my cursor around, you can see that there is a square attached to my cursor and it's aligning with each face that I'm hovering over. It wants to know where I would like to a cut out of and which face I'd like to align this with. So, I can even hover here and align it with the roof, with these walls. So, I'm going to go ahead and click on this wall here, click and release. And it's going to set a section plane down right there. It's asking me to name it so I'm going to call this Cut1 and my symbol, I'm just going to call it C1, and then click OK. Now, I see that I have a section plane here and I can see that symbol that I chose up…
