Basics for using a Windows interface
- [Instructor] The majority of this course will be shown using the Mac interface. The Windows interface is really similar with just a few differences, which will be noted throughout the course. Windows users, you won't be left in the dark. Let's take a look at your interface. Using this dropdown menus at the top are just like the majority of other programs on a computer. Click on the title and more options become available. The file menu is, again, really similar to other programs. This is where we open, save, import, export files, things like that. The edit dropdown menu carries the all-important undo function, along with copy, paste and more. The view menu contains a list of toolbars. If I click on this toolbars option here, and I have some options that become available to me. Go ahead and practice clicking through these, and you can see that more icons are becoming available for us to use as we draw. I'm going to go…
