Basics for using a Mac interface
- Let's take a look at the Mac interface for SketchUp. On top, we have some dropdown menu options. And using these dropdown menus are a lot like the majority of other programs on a computer. You'll click on the title and more options will become available. The SketchUp menu is specific to Macs. The most important option here is the Preferences window. And we'll revisit that later. The File menu is again, very similar to other interfaces. This is where we will open, save, import and export files. The Edit menu carries the all-important undo, as well as copy, paste and more. The View menu contains a list of tool palettes that we'll be referring to in other videos. The most popular one is the Large tool set. But, again, we'll return to this in the future.
