How to hold your guitar
- All right, so now let's go over how to hold the guitar. So you definitely want to hold it against your body so that it feels comfortable. And as you play more, of course, you will feel more comfortable, but I wanna go over the basic few playing styles. So you could certainly put it up against your right leg like this. Some people prefer to cross their leg over so that they bring it up to their body. You could also put it on your left leg in a more kinda traditional way, and then the last way is to stand while you're playing and use the strap. In setting your strap height, I would strongly suggest that you set the strap at a position so that when you're practicing sitting down, you develop your muscles that way, so the strap is set at standing so your muscles can play at the same position. And that's probably the best way to set your strap as opposed to, you know, setting it way down by your knees, even though it looks cool. It's kind of impractical to play that way. You really can't…
