- [Instructor] I had a viewer reach out to me recently and ask a question. They wanted to add a second elevation to their level heads. So they wanted to show both the project elevation and a reference to the North American Vertical Datum or the NAVD. Sadly, there's no native way to do this. You could do one or the other, but to show both together requires a little bit of family editor trickery. Let me first show you the problem and then we'll talk about a potential solution. So let's select the level head here. And you could see that my elevation of that level is currently 20 feet and I'm going to click Edit Type. And that 20 feet is being measured relative to the project base point. However, there is another choice here for the survey point and if I choose that and I click Apply, you're going to see that number changes to nine feet in this project file. That means that I've got an 11 foot offset between my project…
