Setting up an energy model
- [Instructor] Now that we've added air systems, loops and zones, the next step is to create an energy model. This is the step that ties all the stuff we just did to our energy analysis tools that are available. Without this step, everything we just did is for naught. What I'd like to do in this video is create an energy model for our analytical spaces. in Revit, under model, let's go open, press where you're keeping your exercise files. Let's grab MEP progress analysis, click open. Perfect. First thing I want to do is set this to where it should be on the face of the planet. Let's go to the manage tab. Let's click on location. For the location, we'll let internet mapping service. For the project address, type in Syracuse, New York. Click search. Now we're in Syracuse, New York. We can also go to default city list for a city. We could scroll down all the way until we find Syracuse or whatever city you want. This gives us…
