Multi-point routing for fabrication parts
- [Instructor] We'll look at two different ways to actually add MEP fabrication parts. There's a third way. We can use what's called multipoint routing, this is probably the best way to do it. So let's do it, let's jump into Revit, under models, let's go open. Browse where you're keeping your exercise files, and I'll grab fabrication multipoint, click open. In the project browser, on our mechanical HVAC, let's go on the floor plans 1-Mech. Zoom in over here somewhere. In our MEP fabrication parts panel, for our service, let's click the dropdown. We'll go ductwork, four inch WG. For the pallet, we can choose rectangular or round. I'm going to go with rectangular, it's my favorite. Now for systems, let's go to multi-point routing. But let's look at our properties here, reference level, level one. Let's go with middle elevation. Let's put that at nine feet. Now I can pick a point here. It's a pretty big duct. So…
