What you should know
- This course is made for a broad audience, including both software developers and management level roles. It's for those of you who want to learn more about web services, know how to inspect public services and the data returned, integrate public web services in your applications, and lastly create web services using popular technologies. When I introduce a concept, I'll first cover it at a high-conceptual level, then provide you simple examples of how to inspect different types of public web services. We use popular tools like Postman, SoapUI, and GraphQL. I will show you how to integrate public web services into your Java, Swift, and Node.js based applications. I give you hands-on coding examples, and show you how to create custom web services from scratch. If you're more interested in the concepts of web services over creating custom web services, feel free to skip the coding demos. But whether you're a hands-on developer or have no development experience, you will benefit from this course.
