- [Lecturer] One of the most important features in Photoshop is the ability to undo whatever you just did, because just knowing that nothing that you do is permanent allows you to experiment and play in Photoshop. For example, if I choose the Image menu and then Image Rotation and want to flip this canvas horizontally, well, I know that I can always choose to undo this. I can use the Edit menu and then choose Undo Flip Canvas Horizontal, or use the keyboard shortcut, Command + Z on Mac or Control + Z on Windows. We can also click on the state in the history panel. If the history panel isn't showing, you can use the Window menu and then choose History. Here we have the snapshot that was created when I first opened the file, and then the two history states, the open state and the flip canvas. By default, the history panel keeps track of the last 50 commands. You can always change that by going under Photoshop and then either Settings or Preferences, on Windows it would be under the Edit…
