Using Smart Objects to transform multiple layers as one
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how we can use smart objects to warp multiple layers as if they're one, yet maintain the flexibility to edit each individual layer. In the Layers panel I'm going to make all three of these layers visible as well as select them. And then convert them into a single smart object by right clicking and choosing Convert to Smart Object. Now I have a single smart object that I can warp as if it's one layer, but I can still edit the contents of the smart object in case I need to edit them. From the Edit menu, I'll choose Free Transform, and then I'm going to scale this down so that it is the same width as the bottle. And then just reposition it, right about here. Then in order to warp the label, I'll click on the warp icon. And from the warp presets, I can select Cylinder. We can drag the corner point in order to determine the size and the height of the cylinder. We can drag this center…
