- [Instructor] One of the most important features in Photoshop is the ability to undo whatever you just did because just knowing that nothing you do is permanent allows you to experiment and play in Photoshop. For example, if I choose to flip this image by selecting image and then image rotation, and then flip canvas horizontally, then I can always choose to undo this. The first way would be using the edit menu. I could choose to undo flip canvas horizontally or I could use the shortcut command Z on Mac or control Z on Windows, or I can use the history panel. Now, if the history panel isn't showing, choose the window menu and then select history. By default, the history panel keeps track of the last 50 commands that you do, but you can always change this under preferences, under performance. Now on Windows, that would be under the edit menu and then preferences, and then performance and you can change the number of history…
