- To make an impact means to directly affect something. But how do you know if you're successfully making an impact? For donors, impact is an important piece of the decision to make a gift. And because of that, the impact of your organization must become an integral part of your presentation. In this video, I will introduce one of the best methods to convey your organization's impact. Charting impact was developed to help non- profits explain their influence. It revolves around five questions that allow you to identify the information that will best communicate your organization's story in advance.
