Rather than assume, ask how you can help

- Okay, so I wish I knew this years ago. It's simply brilliant. If you ever default into solution mode when someone's sharing a problem, which let's face it, might irritate them, this approach takes the guesswork out. Instead of assuming what the person needs, ask the LPB question. What's the best way I can help you right now? Do you need a listening ear, help with problem solving or someone to brainstorm with? By asking them instead of making assumptions, you can now support them in the way that they need you to show up rather than how you think they need you.
