Encourage people to contribute equally

- Have you ever been in a team and it feels like you're the only one doing all the work? It's frustrating, right? It's often because of the social loafing effect where people tend to exert less effort when working in a group compared to when working alone. Why does it happen? Because in a group, there is a lack of accountability. People feel that their contribution is less noticeable. So here are three things that you can do to discourage these social loafers. Set clear goals so that everyone knows what they're working towards and why it's important. Clearly define roles and responsibilities so people know their specific role and what's expected of them, and encourage regular updates from team members, and then acknowledge when work is being done.
