Animate a complex transition

- [Instructor] In this movie we're going to build a more complex transition and look at how we can repurpose the same animation to create additional transitional devices. First move over to our starting composition. Now we'll look at our reference which is this top layer, when building a more complex transition it's useful to see if there's anything in the image you're transitioning to or from that could inform how you build and animate the transition. In this case we have four columns, holding images. So it would make sense to bring in each column individually and we can do this in a number of ways. Sequentially from left to right, we could reverse that of course, we could randomize it. Or we could have some of the columns come in from the top and some from the bottom, so we'll start by duplicating this solid layer a few times. Next we're going to add some guides.
