Use breakout rooms in Microsoft Teams
- During large group meetings, you may need to separate the attendees into smaller discussion groups. So let's see how to use breakout rooms. Now you can set up your breakout rooms during a meeting, but you also have the option to do some of the setup in advance before the meeting starts. So let's start with that. I'm here in the calendar view where I have a meeting on my calendar. I'll double click that. When you double click on a meeting like this, you can edit the settings. Over on the left, I can see a list of the people who have been invited to the meeting, and at the top, I'm looking for this button for breakout rooms. But this is very important. That button is not there when you first create the meeting. You do have to schedule the meeting and save it. Then come back here and edit the meeting after it's been created. Then you'll see the breakout rooms button. So I'll select that and we've got an option here to create rooms. So let's do that. When you click that, you'll need to…
