- [Instructor] Project's ribbon tabs focus on major project components. Let's review these tabs and see how to work with the ribbon. The File tab takes you to the backstage, just like it does for other programs like Word or Excel. Next tab is Task. So it has commands for working with your tasks, like creating them, linking them, changing where they are in the outline, and so on. The Resource tab has commands for working with resources, and the Project tab has all sorts of features for providing information about your overall project, like setting a baseline. The Report tab provides access to the different types of reports you can create in Project, such as graphical reports and visual reports. The View tab is all about views. The first two sections provide access to a lot of the most frequently used views and you can access them, turn them on, just by clicking the icon.
