- Project has several types of resources to represent the resources needed to complete your projects. Depending on the type, resources can affect the project schedule, cost or both. Now in this project file, I've already created most of the resources for the project. So let's take a look at the information that you enter for each type of resource. We're looking at the resource sheet view. So we see the resources in this project, and you'll notice that several of the resources are work type resources. Work resources are the ones that you assign by time, like people, and with people you have to tell project how much those people are available to the project and their work schedule. That's factored into scheduling tasks and you'll see that there's the standard calendar is assigned to these people. That's the project calendar for this project. For equipment, you might rent equipment for a few days, so you can specify not so much the work schedule, but how long you're going to assign them.…
