- [Instructor] Project uses resource cost fields to calculate project costs. So here we're looking at the resource sheet, and we want to examine the different cost fields for resources. We're going to start with the Standard Rate field. This is the cost for a unit of time for a work resource. So let's find the relocation project manager in the list, and let's say that the project manager gets $100 per hour. So I can type in 100 and press Enter, and you'll notice that Project automatically fills in the per hour. I'm going to go up to the top of the list and add 110 for the network admin, and then press Enter and once again, Project fills in the per hour, but you can actually fill in other time periods. So I'm going to scroll down in the list to find the webmaster and suppose that the webmaster is someone outside your company, and you pay the them $1,000 per month for work on the website.
