Set task dates to specific dates

- [Instructor] Sometimes tasks need to occur on specific dates or follow other date restrictions. Date constraints are one way to specify when tasks start or finish with varying degrees of flexibility. As it turns out, every task comes with a date constraint. To see this, I'm going to switch the form that appears in the details pane to the task details form. So head to the view tab, and then go to the split view section, and where it says task form, click the down arrow. You might have to choose more views, and then choose task details form in the list and click apply. When you do that, now you can see that there's a constraint section in the task details form, and all of the tasks by default are set to as soon as possible. Now, that's completely flexible. That means that the tasks will be scheduled to finish as soon as possible because the project is scheduled from the start date. So we're going to scroll down toward the end of this project, and I want to find task 87, pack and move.…
