- [Instructor] Reviewing project status regularly is the best way to get early warning of problems. A high level view is a great place to start. Let's go up to the Gantt chart format tab and go over to the show hide section. I have the project summary task turned on but I'm are going to turn on the check box for summary tasks so I can see the entire project. I also want to close the details pane. So I'm going to go to the view tab and then in the split view section, turn off the details check box. The project summary task has task ID zero. This is task that Project creates. And the great thing about it is it summarizes your project. So a way to see different aspects of where the project stands, is by applying different tables to the view. For example, on the view tab, I'm going to go to the data section and click to tables. Let's take a look at the summary table.
