- [Instructor] Material resources represent tangible items consumed by a project, like packing boxes, or food and beverages for the office open house. Material resources don't have a time component like work resources. So you fill in fewer fields. We're going to start on the Resource sheet. I'm going to make a little bit more room for the Resource sheet in this window and then select the first blank Resource Name cell. Then you type in the name of the material resource. So let's say that it's the Wine for the open house. I'll type that in and then press Tab to move to the Type cell. Project fills in Work, but this is a material resource. So I'm going to click the down arrow in the Type cell and choose Material. You could also just type the letter M. Notice, when I select Material, the maximum units goes away and the calendar goes away because there's no time component. Now let's go to the Initials field.
