Apply conditional formatting to Excel worksheet table data with Copilot
- [Instructor] Conditional formatting can call out high or low values, duplicate values, cells without values, and more. Instead of stepping through the manual process to apply conditional formatting to a range of cells, let's us Copilot for an assist. We're going to start with a cell selected within the table area, then go to the Home ribbon, and select Copilot. In the Copilot pane here at the bottom, this is where we will enter the prompt. This is going to be a description of the conditional formatting that we want to apply and what we are looking for that condition to be true for it to apply that formatting. So let's enter the prompt Apply green conditional formatting to the Price column for amounts higher than $20. Then press Enter or select send. A notification appears that Copilot is working on this. It's understanding the data. It's doing a little analysis. It's making changes to the table, so it's applying that conditional formatting. It's almost done. And here's the…
