- Many hybrid team members I speak to are simply taking the computer hardware they were given to work in an office setting and trying to make it work in the virtual world. For some of us, this is fine, but most teams made up of people scattered across different locations, will benefit from an upgrade in hardware to accommodate virtual mobility and flexibility. Even team members who are located in the office may need additional hardware and get ready, it's likely going to cost more money to fund hardware for a hybrid team than it would for a co-located team, but if your organization sees going hybrid as a business advantage, then an investment in hardware will pay dividends in improved efficiency in collaboration.
