- I was talking to somebody the other day, let's call him Andy. And he said something like, "Yeah I don't think my team appreciates how I show up to my meetings." And I said, "What do you mean? How do you show up to your meetings?" And he said, "I take all my video conference calls from my recliner, fully reclined. And one of my teammates mentioned once that they don't invite me to client calls because they know I'm most likely going to be laying down." Well, based on my conversation with him, I don't think he knew there was any sort of inappropriateness going on until his teammate made that comment. And I've got to tell ya, Andy's not alone. I've heard all sorts of things people on hybrid teams do that don't align with their teammates, like taking calls while on a hike or wearing pajamas to work. Even just replying every time you respond to an email, and it's not our fault. We just do what we think is right…
