Now in order to tell your story visually, you need to know your script inside and out. Now, you may already feel like you do, especially if you've written the script yourself, or if you collaborated really closely with the writer who did, but this sort of funny thing happens when you go from the writing process to the process of preparing to actually shoot something. And that is that you may find that you see things sort of perfectly in your head, but you're not exactly sure how to articulate them. Or, there are questions that come up on another reading of the script that you weren't thinking about, and you don't actually know the answers to or inversely, you may be reading something in and realize that you know what the answer is, but you're not exactly sure how to how to explain it.
