- All right, now let's talk scheduling your production. Now one of the first things to understand is that your shooting schedule is a very fluid thing. Right now the stage that you're at, the schedule that you're doing is not going to be the final one. Things are going to change as you lock locations, as you find out what the availability of particular actors are, et cetera. But what this first schedule that you're doing is really about is helping you get an understanding of how many days total you're going to need to shoot this project, how long you may need in certain locations to deal with certain scenes, and also which scenes might it make sense to group together on shooting days. So just like with almost anything, there are a number of factors to be considering when making decisions about schedule.
