- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the Maps application that comes with Mac OS. I have it here in the dock, so I'll click to launch it there. And the first time you launch the Maps application, it will ask for your permission to use your computer's location information so it can show your position on the map. And then you can click this button up in the toolbar, which will take you straight to your location. But I'm not going to do that here. Instead, I want to start at the widest view. At the bottom right, you have these plus and minus buttons that you can use to zoom in or zoom out on the map. And if you click that minus button enough, it will zoom all the way out so you can see the entire globe. Now you can manually move the map around by dragging on it. And, of course, you can use the plus button to zoom in. So this way you, might be able to just sort of browse around and find interesting locations. But when you…
