Create folders and rename files and folders
- [Instructor] As you start thinking about setting up your own file organization and finder, you will need to be able to create new folders, and also, rename both folders and files. I want to start in my documents folder, so I will open Finder and use the shortcut on the left to go to My Documents folder. And here, I have a folder called Photos, and if I open that, I have a bunch of other folders that contain a bunch of pictures. I'd like to get this more organized, and to start, I want to make a new folder inside of this Photos folder. To do that, we'll go to the File menu up at the top and choose New Folder. And it creates that new folder here, and when you make a new folder, the name of it will be highlighted in blue. And at that point, you can type in a different name, then hit the Return key and it's all set.
