- In this video will talk about connecting to the internet, which you need to browse the web access email buy new applications in the app store, that sort of thing. We're approaching this. Assuming you do have access to a network in your home or office or some other location, and you just need to connect your Mac to it. And as I start this video, my computer is currently not connected to the internet. Most people will connect to their network using wifi, which is a wireless connection. And you can do that in control center. So near the top right corner, I'll click the control center icon to open control center. And then when you click wifi, you will see a list of the available wifi networks in range of your computer. So you need to know the name of the network that you want to connect to and find it here on this list. Some networks are unlocked and will connect immediately when you select them.
