The normal distribution
- [Instructor] Teachers love explaining and sharing knowledge with their students. Some teachers even love creating and giving exams. But I'll tell you one secret they don't like to share. Most of them don't like correcting those exams. When students finally receive the results of the exam at the end of the semester, it could look something like this, where frequency indicates the number of students who have received that score. From looking at the table, the teacher can notice that the lowest score a student has received is 50% and there are only two students who got this result. Similarly, the highest score that a student received was 100%, and only two students solved the exam without making any mistakes. We will call this type of distribution the normal distribution.
