Saving your project and file management
- [Presenter] As you can see, I've been hard at work on this project. I made a slightly longer arrangement, and now it's time to save my work. Now, the most obvious way to save is Command + S or File, Save. And what this will do is it'll overwrite the Logic project file and save your changes into it. Now, if you want to have a little bit more control of where your project and its associated assets live, you can go File, Save As. Now, here I want to go over some options. First of all, you can change the name, so I'll call it "My Song," for example. I'll save it out on the desktop, but before I hit save I want to go down here and show you that you can organize your project in two ways. You can save it as a package, which will be one external file that contains all of the associated assets. Now, what do I mean when I talk about assets? In this case I'm talking about these audio files, these are special outside files that were not part of Logic Sound Set. I sampled these, I recorded them,…
