Bass world: Getting Geddy Lee's bass sound
On this tour, we are taking four separate lines from Getty Lee's bass world. Number one, a Sansamp RPM, and this is just a spare. We take a Palmer speaker simulator, and we're using it twice actually. We are using one channel of it as a direct box. Just a regular direct box. We're using the second channel to come of the back end of an Orange amplifier which you see right here. And the fourth channel we're taking is the Avalon DI, and then this is just a spare. I take all four of those lines into my console, I split one of 'em off to do an effect to it. Other than that, his sound comes from his ability, his fingers, and the instrument that he uses every night.
