- [Kip] Once you've made sure that all of the tools you need for your machining operations are available in the tool crib, you'll want to select the correct post processor for your machine. For the purposes of this exercise, we're going to use the stock 3 Axis milling tutorial post. Once you're ready to machine parts on your own machines, make sure to select the post that matches the machine that you have on your shop floor. A number of posts are available standard with SolidWorks. If the post for your machine is not available in the standard list that comes stock with SolidWorks, you can typically download and load in with the browse and select button posts that you find from the manufacturer's websites. After you've selected the correct post for your tool, you'll want to click the posting tab.
