Exercise files - Illustrator Tutorial

Exercise files
- [Instructor] There are a handful of exercise files that you could use with this course if you have access to them. If you have the LinkedIn Learning app you can actually download those directly from the app to your device and a couple of them you could open and use their image files, which contain sketches, one of which forms the basis for chapter three. The two illustrator files that are contained however, they will need to be opened on a desktop device. So for everybody else that doesn't have the LinkedIn app then you'll need to open the files because they come zipped on a desktop computer and then you'll need to perform one other step to be able to open them in Illustrator on the iPad, because they need to be in the Cloud document format. So here I've got a file that has come straight out of the exercise files and what I would do is go File, Save As and then choose the option to save it as a Cloud document. Okay, it will then ask me how I want to name it, okay and then I can go ahead and Save. There are two such files and you can do the same with the other file as well. So those files need to be saved as Cloud documents.
