Overview of Waveforms and the Vectorscope

- Color correction is all about the eye and what our eyes see. But here's the thing, the more we look at an image, especially an image that we haven't touched yet, the longer we look at it, the more correct it looks. And to fight that auto balance thing that happens inside our brain, we use a set of objective tool sets, especially for early in the color correction process to help us do some initial evaluation and help us make some initial corrections. Those are the waveform and the vectorscope. We're going to look at that now to see how we can use it. And so I'm going to jump here into the edit page. I'm going to close down the waveform. File, new timeline. We'll call this Grayscale. Create that new timeline.
