- I am forever amazed at the pace of development of DaVinci Resolve. Blackmagic's commitment to just continuously updating and rethinking their software is really clear. Most software companies would've been thrilled to keep DaVinci Resolve exactly what it was, a world class color corrector, but Blackmagic had a vision, and it allowed them to transform Resolve 16 into the integrated post-production powerhouse it is today. And I do have prior Resolve Essentials and Resolve Advanced series where even longtime Resolve colorists have told me they find nuggets of information that are very valuable. Now, those do cover older versions of DaVinci Resolve, but almost everything taught there is relevant to this version of DaVinci Resolve.
