- [Instructor] Let's perform an assembly takeoff. An assembly takeoff is when you count one group of items that are commonly purchased and or installed together. In the case of this plumbing drawing, I've got some lavatories and water closets that I know have a bunch of different pieces of material that go together. So I'm going to count them LV1, one, two. Do I have any more? Here's one, that's three and four. Look around. These are LV2s. That doesn't count. There's an LV2, that doesn't really count. Yeah, I think I've got, so I've got four of those. Now I'm going to go over to my plumbing schedule and see what's involved in one of these LV1s. There's a plumbing fixture schedule on this drawing. I'm going to scroll down, click off of this. Actually, it looks like this schedule calls a LAV1, but I know it's the same thing. It's a solid surface countertop installed lavatory sink provided in the C contract. So…
