Modes
- The XD interface contains three modes, each of which have a very specific purpose and that's what we're going to look at in this exercise, and if you want to work along with me, open the modes file found in your chapter download. The modes are found up here. There are three of them. There's design, prototype, and share. And they all have very, very specific purposes. Design mode is where you build the screens, the screens you were looking at, were all created in design mode, and when you click on design mode, the tools open up. Not only that, you can also select an object as you saw earlier, and all the properties for that image show up on the properties panel. And if I select some text, you can see that the text properties show up over here. So design mode is basically where you design the project, lay it out, get everything formatted and in place.
