- Whether you own a small mom-and-pops business or you run a large multinational corporation, your organization needs to manage data. In this video, I'm going to outline some common tools that can help you get this job done. The most commonly known data management tool is Excel. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet tool that features calculations, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications. This tool is extremely versatile. You can use a data visualization tool like Tableau to not only visualize the trends in your Excel spreadsheet. Tableau can also help you join and merge multiple Excel files together.
