- [Instructor] When InDesign CC 2019 came out there was a lot of drama because the default workspace, Essentials, was completely different than what it was in previous versions. And existing users were like, "What the heck? "The Properties panel does not include all the cool stuff "that we had before and it's not resizable. "It takes up so much space." Well, I'm going to show you just a couple tips or maybe things you didn't know about just to make the Properties panel a little easier to deal with in InDesign. First of all, the Control panel, what used to be there, is not gone forever. You can always choose it. Just go to the Window menu, choose Control and there it is, appears across the top. Now that would be kind of dumb though to have the Control panel and the Properties panel running at the same.
