The Pencil tool
- [Instructor] As you would probably expect, Illustrator has tools that you can actually draw with in Illustrator. Now, just a quick thing to mention before we actually do draw anything here, is if you're serious about using Illustrator, it would be a good idea to invest in something like a graphics tablet or a pen display that you can work on directly. Because working with the track pad is kind of difficult, working with a mouse is kind of difficult, and also it forces your hand into a rather unnatural shape. So do investigate that. Okay, with that, tap N on your keyboard, which will get you the Pencil tool, which I have selected right now. And the first thing I'm going to ask you to do is either to hit Enter on your keyboard or double click on the tool in the toolbox to access the options for the tool.
