- One of the pillars of effective change management is defining what success looks like and how you'll measure this. When it comes to your new flexibility policy there are three things you'll need to document along the way, employee productivity, employee satisfaction, and your own ability to perform as a manager. There are several reasons to keep accurate records for these items. One benefit is you'll have a baseline to measure against so you can see how well the new arrangements are working for your team. Then if you need to make any adjustments you'll be able to base your decisions on real data, which will make your policy more likely to succeed in the long run.
